Beginning Ballroom at CSMA - It's not too late to join! (2/1)

An introductory course for those who want to learn social ballroom dancing in a fun, upbeat and supportive environment. Master the basic steps of dances such as the Foxtrot, Waltz and Rumba. Learn the aspects of partner dancing that easily transfer to any dance! We'll spend time on connecting with your partner, the basic elements of lead and follow, and good foundational technique. No partner necessary!

WHAT: 9 classes (no class 2/21) Foxtrot, Waltz and Rumba

Level 2 Ballroom

This class will continue from the beginning level. There will be three four-week sessions with each session focusing on an individual dance. We'll review the basics, spend time on posture, partnering and movement and learn some fun moves and more complex sequences. The focus will be on social dancing, not competitive styling, and you can expect a nice variety of music. No need to have a partner to sign up. We will also have available practice time for at least ½ hour after class.

WHAT: Three four-week sessions: Foxtrot: 1/31 - 2/28: (no class 2/21) Waltz: 3/ 7 - 4/4 (no class 3/21) Rumba/Cha Cha: 4/11 - 5/2

FEES: Previous students: $35, otherwise $40 per 4-week session (discounts available for multiple sessions)
